Hiram White was the name used by someone from Candram who spent decades on Earth. He became addicted to Holloway's pills. The Seventh Doctor and Ace met him and offered to take him home, but he wanted to be taken back to the time he left Candram. The Doctor could only take him to the present time. He elected to stay on Earth. (PROSE: One Card for the Curious)
