A female singer aboard the Orient Express in space performed "Don't Stop Me Now" during a visit by the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald. She was, however, a hard-light hologram created by the train's computer Gus for ambience, and vanished along with the other holograms on Gus' command. If the singer had name, it was never uttered. (TV: Mummy on the Orient Express)

A recording of the audio from the singer's performance of "Don't Stop Me Now" was played in a radio inside Clara Oswald's TARDIS (which was disguised as a diner in the Nevada desert) while the Twelfth Doctor visited. (TV: Hell Bent)

Behind the scenes

  • A video showing Foxes' complete rendition of Don't Stop Me Now was released on the BBC website shortly after the transmission of Mummy on the Orient Express. It featured clips from the complete Series 8 including episodes not yet broadcast at the time of its release, such as In the Forest of the Night and Flatline. The video was later included on the Series 8 DVD and Blu-ray box set. An alternate video, consisting solely of footage of Foxes performing the complete song, but without any cutaways, was also uploaded to YouTube but was not included in the box set.
