Source needed for death date
I happened to come here by random and I saw the date of death. A Google search fails to reveal any online source confirming that she is dead. This concerns me - in fact it looks like she still has an active Facebook page. 23skidoo 02:22, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, we have to be very careful when it comes to living people. It goes against basic wikia policy to report someone's death without absolute, verifiable proof from a reputable source. We've allowed a single-edit IP user to hijack this article for too long. Slapping a sourcing tag on it isn't strong enough. You have to actually remove the dates. You can't just tag a death date and hope someone will come along and fix it. Also, the birth date is equally dubious; I see no evidence of any kind of birth record in common Google searches. So I've removed them both. The other thing is, we've got Shaila Bux as the credited picture edited on an issue of DWA (#77, I think), which came out a good six months after her alleged death in March 2008. No magazine has a six month lead time. Even if she were dead, there's no way she died in March 2008 but still had an issue of DWA in August 2008. CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 20:56, April 9, 2010 (UTC)
