Potential rename

I think the other terms that have been used (4DA, 8DA, EA) are fine as they're acronyms of the series title, and are also commonly used by fans of the show, so they are recognisable. (GALL) on the other hand I have not seen used to describe this series, and when I saw the page title I had to open the page to see what it was actually on. The capitalised letters also suggest that it is an acronym, which could lead to further confusion. I'd suggest we change it to Series 1 (Gallifrey) instead. 0003c9fe 20:53, February 8, 2018 (UTC)

I agree with 0003c9fe as I was similarly unsure what the page title referred to when I first saw it. "Series 1 (Gallifrey)" seems like it would be the best option. --GusF 22:47, February 8, 2018 (UTC)
Well, the reason I went with (GALL) rather than with (Gallifrey) is because dab terms for series tend to be as short as logically possible. Also, GALL was taken from the production codes of the series. But I'm not against a rename, if consensus is that it should be dabed as (Gallifrey). OncomingStorm12th 23:11, February 8, 2018 (UTC)
Yeah I can now see why you weant with it with the production code and all, however I don't think there is any way that we can shorten it whilst keeping it easily understandable, so I think (Gallifrey) would be the way to go. 0003c9fe 08:48, February 9, 2018 (UTC)
This thread seems to have died, so I'd just like to give it a bump, as well as add my support to the proposed rename to Series 1 (Gallifrey). Danochy 10:28, November 10, 2019 (UTC)
