Bernard Holley has played several Doctor Who roles. He has the rare distinction of reprising both of his television guest characters in Big Finish audio dramas. He also contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who.

He is best known for playing PC Newcombe in police drama Z-Cars.
