- Ianto is retconned several times by Yvonne, who is appraising him for Torchwood recruitment.
- Blind Summit is a research firm which tests, among other things, the Excellium nanodrug. Excellium can be used to make super soldiers, but has a high rejection rate.
- The nanogenes in the Excellium formula were created from information obtained from the Brett Archive.
- Ianto tracked his father down in London. He makes Ianto's life difficult, as he regularly trashes Ianto's flat.
- Ianto is injected with Excellium, which causes him to remember all the times Yvonne retconned him.
- A "Code Black" situation is a distress call that calls for available Torchwood agents to come in, guns blazing.
