Hilio was the captain of the Menoptera spearhead to free Vortis from the Animus.
When the spearhead was massacred by the Zarbi, Hilio was rescued by Hlynia who led him to a cave, where they met up with Barbara Wright, Hrostar and Prapillus. Hilio did not trust Barbara, and when he planned to cut his way through the carsenome, Prapillus said it wouldn't work. When they made a mock attack on the carsenome, Hilio assisted.
