The Seeth was a race that existed in a pocket dimension. They were going to break out of their dimension eventually but the Monk organised a way to get it out 200 years earlier to avoid them encountering the Earth Empire during the Analogue Wars. The Second Doctor managed to find a way to undo the Monk's meddling. (AUDIO: The Black Hole)
