Dr Gilchrist was a doctor at Hawthorne and a friend and colleague of Dr William Bruffin and Dr Beatrice Hearst.
She was aware of Dr Bruffin's feelings towards Dr Hearst and supported Dr Hearst when she spoke to P.R.O.B.E.'s Louise Bayliss about Dr Bruffin's death, assuring her that it was not her fault. (HOMEVID: The Zero Imperative)
