Talk:Kaalann

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

"Kaalann may be the same city as the Dalek City seen in previous stories."

I don't think so as on the official site, it says: "but the four original stories will take players on a journey throughout time and space, including one location from the Doctor Who series which has never been seen before on screen." However, this may be in one of the later games so I think that should stay until the fourth game has come out. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 13:13, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

Is there anything to positively connect Kaalann with any sites on Skaro? (In-universe I mean)
The Kaled Dome was the home city of the Kaleds on Skaro.
Another old ruined city is mentioned in Guilt.
The city in The Daleks had a lake on one side, mountains near it (not sure where Kaalann stands with regards to these features).
But, the lead sentence for this article describes it as the capital city (is stated specifically?). Do the various sources we have access to ever state that places like; the Kaled Dome, the Daleks' city, the ruined city where Davros does his first Dalek experiments and other places state they are the 'capital city'. --Tangerineduel 13:37, June 6, 2010 (UTC)--Tangerineduel 13:37, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

Merger with Dalek City

Is there any further information to suggest that this article and Dalek City should be merged? --Tangerineduel / talk 05:13, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

Not necessarily conclusive evidence if we're being very, very strict about going strictly by what is explicitly said in stories… but The Dalek Handbook from 2011 explicitly identifies Kaalann as the name of the classic Dalek City, so I think that between that and the Doctor's description of the video game Kaalann as the Daleks' capital city which he last saw in ruins, it's fairly clear what the authorial intent was. --Scrooge MacDuck 14:55, July 23, 2019 (UTC)
The Dalek Handbook is not a valid source for in-universe articles. Shambala108 15:39, July 23, 2019 (UTC)
