Kriemhilde Steiner
Professor Kriemhilde Steiner was a Nazi agent and a member of the Black Science Division.
Biography
Steiner was sent on a mission was to find the "Eagle of ultima Thule", a legendary source of energy sought after by the Third Reich.
On 30 November 1936, she was operating undercover in London, going under the identity of the archaeologist "Dr Sophie Renard" of the Societe Archeologique. She found the energy source at the pneumatic railway near the Crystal Palace with the help of the Eleventh Doctor, who suspected her true intentions, along with the energy source.
The Doctor revealed that the energy source was actually a phoenix egg and made efforts to keep it away from Steiner. After a short brawl with the Doctor, Rory Williams and Amy Pond who tried to keep the egg out of her reach with a game of football, Steiner touched the egg and was burned alive as it hatched, setting fire to the Crystal Palace.
