All members of Torchwood One signed a contract which bound them to continue with Torchwood right up until their deaths, barring a dismissal from Yvonne Hartman. Ianto Jones questioned whether outsider personnel at Torchwood One, like Dave Cooke the cleaner, had had the support staff retcon protocols included in their employment contracts. He argued that Dave had not willingly agreed signed off his memories for 10% above minimum wage and 4 weeks off a year for holiday. (AUDIO: Locker 15)
