Naomi Samuels lived with her husband, Keith, and daughter, Jasmine, at a house on Lloyd George Avenue, Cardiff.

When she and her family became trapped in their home, she blamed Gwen Cooper and Rhys Williams for leading a horde of zombies to their door.

Biography

Naomi and her daughter wedged small but heavy items, like the toaster and microwave, against the back door of the house. When Jaz was asked by Gwen to fetch her noticeboard from her bedroom, Naomi gave her approval to go and collect it.

When Gwen suggested breaking up the kitchen table to board the windows, Naomi protested, arguing that it was a wedding present from her mam and dad.

With the house as secure as they could make it, Naomi and her family gathered with Gwen and Rhys in the front room. After a constant barrage of thuds and groans against the doors, windows and walls, Naomi couldn't take it and Gwen had to calm her down.

A short while later, the zombies broke in through the window, and Gwen ushered Naomi and her family upstairs. The Samuelses gathered beneath a wooden panel in the ceiling which led to the attic of the house. Gwen went first. Naomi then followed Jasmine up the ladder into the attic. When Keith froze half way up the ladder, Naomi shouted at him "For God's sake, Keith! What the sodding hell are you playing at?". Keith quickly snapped out of his daze and entered the attic with Rhys close behind. Naomi argued that rather than save them, Gwen had trapped them there. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)

Appearance

Naomi was short and bespectacled, with spiky black hair. When trapped in the attic, Naomi's face was a pallid mask of pinched, nervy anger.

Personality

Naomi distrusted Gwen and Rhys, and blamed them for the chaos which had befallen upon her family. Her hostility was fed by fear; she was fearful of the creatures attacking her home, and even huddled against Gwen for comfort. She was short-tempered and quick to anger when faced with stressful situations. When Keith tried to comfort her, she flinched away like he was a stranger. She was argumentative and sour. Gwen had to bite back the impulse to snap the woman's head off, telling herself that Naomi was just scared - and with good reason. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)
