Cleveland Street was a street in London which had been terrorised by the War Machines in July 1966 until their defeat at the hand of the First Doctor. (TV: The War Machines) On 20 July the newspaper Daily Reflection noted that the last of the machines had recently been removed from the scene. (TV: The Faceless Ones)
