Rebec was a member of the secondary Thal taskforce sent to Spiridon to warn Taron's initial team about the true size of the Dalek army there. She was ostensibly this second unit's leader. She quickly submitted to Taron's leadership, and readily took the Doctor's advice about how best to proceed against the huge Dalek force. (DW: Planet of the Daleks)
