A Cyberman was among the creatures ensnared to a sports arena by a "strange web" to wrestle for the amusement of a gorilla-like race. It was pitted against the Second Doctor, who had defeated the champion Grok. Initially overwhelming the Doctor, the Cyberman was quickly outsmarted by the Doctor's knowledge of physics and ended up tied into the ring's bounding ropes, earning the Doctor his freedom.
