The Therovian President was the leader of the Therovians when a plague gradually weakened most of the population. The President sent Grig, one of the few unaffected, on a mission to find a cure. With the aid of the First Doctor, John and Gillian, a cure was found on Ixon and delivered to Theros. (COMIC: The Therovian Quest)
