Emma Clarke was a nurse at St John's Ambulance Service. She was a close friend of Constable Bernard Whittam, unaware that Bernard was created by the Doctor's TARDIS's chameleon circuit as part of its disguise after it materialised in Totter's Lane in 1963. Like Bernard's mother and father, Emma was created by Bernard during his five years of existence. (AUDIO: The Last Day at Work)
