This topic might have a better name.

Any particular reason this isn't just called burial? We should look through more DWU sources to see what's used most commonly.

Talk about it here.

Interment

Interment was the act of burying or interring the dead. This was a common occurrence on Earth. (TV: The Next Doctor) The Sixth Doctor offered up inhumation, sepulture and obsequy as synonyms for this practice. (TV: Revelation of the Daleks)

A fatally wounded Time Lord could take days to die, as their body would continually try to regenerate. As a result, Time Lords preferred to die among their own kind so they would not be buried too early. (TV: Heaven Sent)
