Doctor Who and Interference (in-universe) was a book that was cited when the "Jane Fonda" Iris responded to the Eighth Doctor about a faction of paradox-inducing psychopaths from the far future. (PROSE: Bafflement and Devotion)

Behind the scenes

Important note

This is a in-universe counterpart of the real world Target Books novelisation Doctor Who and an Unearthly Child that exists within the Doctor's universe. It was referenced in Bafflement and Devotion as one of Iris Wildthyme's possessions, providing commentary upon continuity and lack thereof, as well as it being a fictional citation.

While the title in the real world is simply "Interference", the title provided in Bafflement and Devotion is a play on the titles of older Target Novelisations, which often placed Doctor Who and the at the beginning of the title.
