Temporal Cannon
A Temporal Cannon was a weapon created by the Eternity Circle to be used against the Time Lords during the Last Great Time War.
Characteristics
The Temporal Cannon had De-mat capabilities and could be fitted to a standard Dalek, replacing its mid section. The cannon could wipe an individual from history, although the Daleks made sure to make themselves immune to the weapon though Time Lords and humans, with a bit of effort, could remember the victims. History
The Temporal Cannon was developed on Moldox by the Dalek Eternity Circle in the closing stages of the Last Great Time War. The weapon was affixed to new Temporal Weapon Daleks during its testing sessions, being fielded alongside the Skaro Degradations. One of the new units used its weapon to erase Finch but was destroyed when the Doctor's TARDIS crashed into it before it could fire on Cinder. Concurrently, the Eternity Circle demonstrated the Cannon to the Dalek Emperor by firing it on Jocelyn Harris. Once testing was complete, the Daleks intended to use their progenitors to seed a new paradigm of Temporal Weapon Daleks across the universe and construct a large scale version of it to fire at Gallifrey and erase the Time Lords from history.
As the TARDIS recharged, the War Doctor convinced Cinder to help him investigate the weapon's development in the city of Andor. Upon discovering the Cannon's capabilities, the Doctor and Cinder made for Gallifrey to warn the High Council of the Dalek plan. Once he had fled, the Daleks began construction on the large scale cannon, mining energy from the Tantalus Eye to fuel and harvesting three moons as a superstructure.
When the High Council was informed of the Dalek plan, they conspired to use the Tear of Isha to close the Tantalus Eye. This led to the Battle for the Tantalus Eye. The Doctor won this battle by first disposing of the Tear at the end of the universe and then having Borusa use his powers to erase the Eternity Circle from existence, erasing the Temporal Cannon from history.
