In a promo image for Silence in the Library, one of the books seen was Bridget Jones's Diary.

At the time Silence in the Library originally aired, two novels by Helen Fielding featuring the character and title were published: Bridget Jones's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. The story does not clarify if the Doctor is referring to individual books, or the series in general.
