Monia (TV: Day of the Daleks) or Moni (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Day of the Daleks) was a guerrilla fighter and the leader of the human resistance opposing the Daleks in an alternate 22nd century Earth. He helped rescue the Third Doctor and Jo Grant from the Daleks. (TV: Day of the Daleks)

Behind the scenes

• In the novelisation, Monia is renamed Moni. When the story was originally released on video, Monia was listed as Monica in the credits.
• On the 1980s VHS release, the character was mistakenly credited as 'Monica.'
