David Gooderson (born 24 February 1941[1]) played Davros in the Doctor Who television story Destiny of the Daleks. He also provided uncredited Dalek voices in the same story. (DWM 283) Though he was soon replaced in the part by Terry Molloy, and, later, Julian Bleach, he eventually reprised the role of Davros in the 2021 webcast Risen, a prequel to Destiny of the Daleks.

He later voiced Gavin Dexter in the audio stories Buried Secrets and Fatal Consequences. He also contributed to the Davros Connections documentary and the DVD audio commentary of Destiny of the Daleks. In 2021, he once again played Davros, providing his voice for the webcast Risen.
