Spoiler protection underway?

Due to the risk of breaking spoiler policy in terms of editing, are there plans to protect and/or lock this article? I will not say any more. I do not wish to get myself blocked. --Thunderush 19:51, August 4, 2013 (UTC)

Several articles, including this one, are currently protected. Shambala108 19:56, August 4, 2013 (UTC)

He made a cameo as the 12th Doctor in "The Day of the Doctor." It's time to unlock this and acknowledge him as a Doctor. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Truthbealiar (talk • contribs) .

Scottish

Third Scottish actor after McCoy & Tennant? Wow. Pretty sure Eccleston was Scottish...The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.49.131.104 (talk).

Do you have any proof? Both IMDB and Wikipedia (not valid sources here) say he's English. Shambala108 02:42, June 4, 2014 (UTC)
Ok my bad. He's from Manchester which is Northwest England so it's close to Scotland. I retract my complaint on this page & I think on the Sylvester McCoy page as well. Sorry!

Jewish?

"Capaldi is the first actor who identifies as Jewish to play the Doctor" where was this confirmed? TheFatPanda 13:53, November 3, 2016 (UTC)

I removed that sentence; it can be re-added if it has a proper source. Thanks for catching that. Shambala108 13:57, November 3, 2016 (UTC)
I really don't think that's true.

wtf?

Why was Peter Capaldi’s whole talk page just deleted? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.160.122.168 (talk • contribs) .

This is an interesting one. This page was moved about a lot in acts of vandalism, the end result of which doesn't seem to have been noticed until now. The old conversations actually reside at Talk:Peter Capald right now. --Borisashton 01:03, November 9, 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing this out! I've now brought the talk page back here.
