Attenborough in the Amazon was a four-part documentary series presented by David Attenborough, set in the Amazon.

In the first episode, he and the BBC Natural History Film-Making Unit collaborated with Jo and Clifford Jones, where the duo furthered their efforts into converting the world into eating vegetables from the Borneo Basin. Other topics covered in the episode included whether or not Attenborough would enjoy eating a Vegetarian Sunday Roast and something to do with Sandy the Sand Beetle.

In the third episode, Jo and Cliff weren't present for Attenborough's journey into Darkest Peru, where he filmed a tour of a "remarkable city and a lost civilisation" which was potentially visited by aliens long ago. The episode also covered the potential friendship between Attenborough and a cockatoo. (PROSE: Greyhound)
