The Lune Forest was a region of Gallifrey. Just prior to the formal outbreak of the Last Great Time War, the War Council established a secret facility in the forest, which the Celestial Intervention Agency discovered when one of their drones malfunctioned and happened to fly over it. Behind the scenes
- The Lune Forest first appeared in Death Comes to Time when it was traversed by Casmus and Ace on their journey to Mount Plutarch. It bordered an inland sea.
