Caldin Corrigan's journal

Caldin Corrigan's journal was a small, leather-bound, handwritten journal kept by Captain Caldin Corrigan. Despite the destruction of his ship the Jerusalem, Christian managed to salvage it, and gave it to Emily at Corrigan's funeral, hoping it would help her find closure. Indeed, the final entry written by Corrigan before his death revealed that he intended to finally reveal Emily's true origins to her at the earliest opportunity, having determined that he could not in good conscience allow her to die without learning his secret.
