The Department

The Department was a sinister totalitarian Government that dominated London in the mid-21st Century. Keeping the population under control with it's robotic police force, the CCPC and putting all it's time and money into alien research it never missed the opportunity to put innocent lives at risk for a good publicity stunt. It is led by the mysterious LOMAXX. Some of it's more villainous members include Inspector Drake and Inspector Thorne while some of it's more heroic members include Professor Alistair Gryffen, Darius Pike and Inspector June Turner. It is one of the chief antagonists of K-9 (TV series). Whether it will be overthrown at the climax of the first season or continue as an antagonist for the entire course of the series is unknown.
