In his role as the Fourteenth Doctor, David Tennant is slated to headline a run of three 2023 specials, debuting in time for the 60th anniversary anniversary of An Unearthly Child being first broadcast on 23 November 2023 and beyond. Catherine Tate will return as Donna Noble, having previously played the part as companion to Tennant's Tenth Doctor.[1][2][3]
Additionally, Tennant is set to appear as the Tenth Doctor in Big Finish's Once and Future mini-series, which is also part of the 60th anniversary celebration.[4]
