The Compère was the host at the Eclectica club. They were intrigued by Bernice Summerfield. They told Benny and the Unbound Doctor about what Berlin was the black sheep of Germany.[statement unclear] They explained to the Doctor about the callousness of Germany, including sending money to the father who despised them.[statement unclear] They went with the Doctor to find Wulf and Benny. They actually went to the conversion tunnel to attract the attention of the cybermen's victims.
