Since several users have been adding the "death" categories to character pages, this announcement will serve to let everyone know that these categories are in the process of being deleted. This may take a little while. Please do not add these categories to pages, do not recreate them, and do not bother to remove them. User:CzechOut is taking care of them as I type.

For the reason behind the deletion of these categories, I quote CzechOut: "The reason is that these categories can be easily abused because they're ambiguous. In science fantasy like Doctor Who, it's often difficult to assess whether someone was really killed by another entity or not. More to the point, if they come back to life, did they, in point of practical fact, ever die in the first place?"

In other words, categories like these violate Tardis:Category naming conventions.
