Dorothy Stokes of Llandaff House, Cardiff, was a reader of the website Who is Doctor Who?.

Biography

In early 2006, Dorothy Stokes sent an old photograph of Charles Dickens to the webmaster of Who is Doctor Who?, as in the background of the photograph, the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler were visible; (PROSE: Rose sighting confirmed) the webmaster had previously asked on his website for any sightings of Rose. (PROSE: The Doctor Was Involved in the Dummy Massacre)

Behind the scenes

Although similar in nature to the user-created characters in Rose sighting confirmed, Dorothy Stokes was included in the main text of the story and therefore was created by the BBC webteam.
