In 2323, Georgette Gold, after recreating the space-time telegraph, sent intelligent code into the ether as a distress call to the Doctor's TARDIS through its time/space signature, hoping to lure the Doctor to help with her PhD in Dalek Studies. This triggered Automated Protocol Epsilon Delta Rho within the TARDIS, sending it and the Fourteenth Doctor to the Dalek Dome.
