Judge (The Blood Cell)
The Judge was a mechanical creature found within the Prison, an asteroidal prison used by the "HomeWorld".
The original form of the Judge was unknown. By the time that it was found by the Twelfth Doctor, it had grafted so much biomass onto its form that its original body could not be seen. Its form resembled a massive version of one of the Prison's robotic Custodians.
The Judge's motives were somewhat vague. It claimed to have been sent (presumably by the Governor's opposition from the HomeWorld) to eliminate all prisoners within the Prison but once it was activated, it discovered that a plague was ravaging the HomeWorld. It then began experimenting on prisoners to discover if sin was the source of this infection. Ultimately, the main goal of the Judge was to discover every nuance of the human experience - even if it meant killing every human and augmenting them onto its form.
After experimenting with a prisoner, it would graft the corpse of the prisoner onto its own form. It was also able to attach still-living beings onto its body to serve essentially as voices for itself, though this proved fatal for the unlucky being chosen. The Judge was programmed to be unable to experiment of figures of authority.
Shortly after being activated by power fluctuations, the Judge would begin its plan. It began by killing prisoners kept in the level above its cell and then managed to reprogram all of the Custodians to its cause. It killed almost all of the Prisoners, only sparing Marianne Globus due to its belief that she was a mix of Custiodan and human. By the time that it was discovered by the Twelfth Doctor, the Governor, Abesse, and Marianne it had killed and grafted possibly hundreds of prisoners into its form and had kidnapped Clara Oswald and Bentley (who was killed to serve as a voice box for the Judge). It attempted to bargain the Doctor into giving it the ability to leave the Prison but was killed by Marianne Globus committing suicide using the power pack of her Custodian wheelchair as a sort of bomb.
