Sophie was the flatmate of Craig Owens at the time of the Aickman Road mystery .She did have romatic feelings for Craig as he did for her, but they never did piece together that they both loved each other. On th She along with Craig took on a new lodger in their flat. This lodger turned out to be the Doctor. She found him very quirky and not normal as most people found him. One day when the Doctor was living at the flat, she was lured "up-Stairs" which turned out to be a time machine absorbing human energy. The Doctor and Craig saved her in time and they then figured out a way to destroy the time machine. As the doctor left her and craig kissed announcing their romantic feelings for each other.
