The Creator of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids was once described by a Retconning Crocodile as a genius in contrast to the Cupids themselves whom he thought of as "inconsequential fools" for the most part. The Crocodile further described the Creator in Auteur's terms as "if the lovechild of Urizen and Nikola Tesla had pursued a double career in robotics and biodata-manipulation". Behind the scenes

The Creator is an oft-mentioned but rarely seen character in The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids, the series with which Resurrection of the Author [+]Loading...["Resurrection of the Author (short story)"] was a crossover.

Her true name, Cupida Hartnell, was not revealed until the release of the short story Genesis of the Cupids which postdated her mention in Resurrection of the Author [+]Loading...["Resurrection of the Author (short story)"] by a little over a month. She was likely named in reference to William Hartnell who originated the character of the Doctor.
