Biography

From at least 2006, Amol Rajan was a reporter who regularly appeared on television. (TV: Empire of Death [+]Loading...["Empire of Death (TV story)"], PROSE: 73 Yards [+]Loading...{"page":"111","1":"73 Yards (novelisation)"})

By 2046, he was a presenter for Hotline. He interviewed Roger ap Gwilliam while the latter was leader of the Albion Party during the 2046 general election. During the interview, Gwilliam mentioned his proposal for mandatory DNA testing for the entire population. This interview was shown to the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday in the Remembered TARDIS. Behind the scenes

Amol Rajan is a real world television presenter and journalist. In portraying himself in 73 Yards [+]Loading...["73 Yards (TV story)"], significant makeup was applied to make him appear aged up. In an interview, Rajan described his appearance as "surreal" and that he thought he looked like his father upon seeing himself in a mirror.[1]

The novelisation of 73 Yards [+]Loading...["73 Yards (novelisation)"] notably predicts that Rajan will have received a knighthood by 2046.
