History

Rani Chandra owned a DS in 2009. Rani was not a big gamer and used the console for "casual games". Amongst the games that she owned were a "cute cooking simulator", a "very unrealistic law simulator", and a game about looking after pets. Lilly and Holly Frobisher owned two consoles. Lilly's console was white, and Holly's was pink. They used the consoles during Prime Minister Brian Green's speech announcing the closing of schools and a curfew for those under the age of eighteen. Behind the scenes

While not named in full in PROSE: The Last Sontaran [+]Loading...["The Last Sontaran (novelisation)"], the Nintendo DS was a handheld, cartridge-based game system released by Nintendo in 2004, with different models continuing to be made more than a decade later. Two models briefly appeared in TV: Children of Earth: Day Three [+]Loading...["Children of Earth: Day Three (TV story)"], but were unnamed in the story.

The video games, Top Trumps: Doctor Who [+]Loading...["Top Trumps: Doctor Who (video game)"], and Evacuation Earth [+]Loading...["Evacuation Earth (video game)"], were released for the Nintendo DS.
