Pa Clanton was a rancher and the father of Ike Clanton, Phineas Clanton, and Billy Clanton. He supported his sons in their conflicts with Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday. (DW: The Gunfighters)

Historically, Pa Clanton died weeks before the gunfight.
