Mr Scoones was the owner of the one of the local workhouses in London. On Christmas Eve 1851 he attended the funeral of Reverend Aubrey Fairchild. Mercy Hartigan arrived with an army of Cybermen, but he, Mr Cole, Mr Fetch and Mr Milligan were taken by them to be used as a part of their plans. zzthey made him take the orphans to the lair of the CyberKing. He was killed by Mercy Hartigan when he was no longer needed. (DW: The Next Doctor)
