Stimson was Hardin's assistant in his experiments with the Argolins' Tachyon Recreation Generator. He had convinced Hardin to fake success in their experiments to ensure continued funding. When Hardin admitted the truth to Romana, Stimson tried to get off-planet, but was killed by Klout, who framed the Fourth Doctor for the crime. (DW: The Leisure Hive)
