- The First Doctor and Susan Foreman met Siger Holmes in India. Holmes told them about a temple whose priests were allegedly able to chant open a gateway to another world. In a later adventure, the Seventh Doctor learned that this other world was the planet Ry'leh. (NA: All-Consuming Fire)
