Forum:Rory Williams or Rory Pond?

Hi,

I was just wondering if, with the release of the new DWM, Rory's surname is now officially established as Pond? I know the Doctor referenced this in "The Big Bang" but at that point, it was never established whether or not this was the case.

On the latest cover of DWM, it states:

Back on TV! Amy Pond; The Doctor; River Song; Rory Pond

I was just wondering if this establishes that his surname has indeed been changed or if it will need to be confirmed elsewhere.

We should wait the three days (when the Magazine is released) to see if any more is said of this. It might just be a joke that the magazine editors liked as well and included on the cover. If the magazine doesn't confirm nor deny the detail, then we could maybe add it to Rory's page as background info that he might've changed his name for realz. Once it's revealed either way in an actual future story (TV episode, comic, book, adventure game) then we can take appropriate action. It'll probably come up soon with the Doctor's penchant for last names ("Come along, Pond" and such).--Tim Thomason 04:32, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
