Howling:River Song Matt Smith finale
I was wondering about River Song. The Moff said that sereis six will explain who River Song is. Maybe we will find out things like she has slept with the doc or where she comes from but I don't think this will be the end of River songs arc. There has been so much about what she will be but I don't think she will be a time lord or the rani because we have seen her death in the David Tennant ones and she didn't seem like a time lord. Also some have suggested she is in league with the big bad but I think thats the most ridiculous theory ever. There is one theory that alot of people think that the man she kills is the eleventh doctor. I think this might be true that she will be the one to bump off Matt Smith when he leaves remember RTD said he had the tenth doctors death mapped out maybe Moff has the elevenths too. It could be that River will cause his death like Will and the tenth doctor albiet in a different way. I don't think she will be evil though because of what we have already seen of her at the end of her life, in the tennant era. It would be quite an interesting finale to have River bump off Matts doctor and cause him to regenerate, again not maliciously more like Wilf and the tenth but obviously different enough so its not just the same. Still though this theory is full of holes too, I mean we don't know how long Matt Smith is going to do it he could do a tom baker and outrun his showrunner also Alex Kingston cant keep playing River Song for years and years. Dont get me wrong she has aged well very well but really if she is still playing River in say five years then that will be seven years since she was meant to have played an older version of herself when we saw river die. Also I really don't know how they are going to resolve her and the Doctors relationship. She and the doc are meant to have this thing she calls him sweetie and my love but really how are they going to resolve it on screen have them get off I can't see it really. Let me know what you think do you guys think she will be the one to bump off the Eleventh Doctor ala Wilfred Mott and Peri or do you think she will be evil or have her story arc resolved completely in series 6, realize there have been lots of forums on River Song but hey one more can't hurt.
