Series 5 (SJA)

Series 5 of The Sarah Jane Adventures is expected to air on CBBC sometime in 2011. On 4 March 2010, the BBC announced that it had officially commissioned both a 4th and 5th series of the spin-off. Part of the series was planned to film in 2010 alongside Series 4 and it was later announced that half the series had been completed as planned.

With the death of Elisabeth Sladen in April 2011, the BBC announced that no new episodes will be made. According to the obituary, at the Doctor Who News Page, three stories (six episodes) of Series 5 had been completed.

• Luke will still be at Oxford university for most of the series, but he will return for another story.

Episodes

The series will be made up of 3 full episodes, all being two-parters. The series is expected to air on CBBC sometime throughout November. Luke Smith will make an appearance in episode three.

• They will introduce a new character into the gang.
• A Sontaran will appear.
• One story will involve “The mystery of the Man Who Never Was.”
