Time placement
- Given the obvious absence of Rory, can this story really be set after the Big Bang? Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be provisionally at least placed after Cold Blood and before the Pandorica Opens? Maybe between Vincent and the Doctor and The Lodger, because Amy's discovery of the wedding ring provides a link between TL and TPO. Bumbles the Time Lord 07:35, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
- It can't be set after The Big Bang as the crack appears which, if this is set after TBB, should not be there. I think it's set after The Adventure Games, as the Doctor says Amy should recognise the planet Skaro, where they visited in City of the Daleks. I'd say it occurs before The Lodger due to the wedding ring link. But then there's also other novels and comic strips. It may occurs before Michael Moorcock's The Coming of the Terraphiles - the Doctor mentions the Daleks to Amy to give an example of something and by The Only Good Dalek, she's had three encounters with them, and she would have had a better experience of them here than Victory and City. So I think after Shadows of the Vashta Nerada and before The Coming of the Terraphiles.90.201.174.29 08:46, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
