Scootori Manista was a trainee maintenance officer who was posted on Sanctuary Base 6. Scooti was twenty years old. She was in the control room when the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler arrived. Later, Scooti went into Toby Zed's room to drop off his expependiture, but heard the airlock open. While investigating, she found Toby, possessed by the Beast, standing outside, unprotected in the vacuum of space. He began to beckon her towards him, but she resisted him. When Toby broke the glass, Scooti gasped and ran away. She tried to escape through Door 40, but Toby shattered the glass before she could and Scooti was blown out into space screaming.
