The Two Streams Facility was a kindness quarantine facility on Apalapucia to house the Apalapucians who had contracted the Chen-7 virus, which would kill sufferers in a day. Using temporal technology, it allowed them to live through their entire lives in a day. Handbots patrol the facility and offer medicine and anaesthesia to patients. An Interface was also available to offer information to patients. In the Red Waterfall section, time is compressed to prolong the lives of patients infected with Chen-7. The Green Anchor section serves as a sterile bay where individuals can visit their relatives, through the use of a mirror which peers directly into the Red Waterfall section. The facility also offers a range of leisure activities for entertainment based around several 'zones', including replicas of environments found on Shallanna and Clom. By entering the main atrium, patients can gain access to several areas solely dedicated to their enjoyment in the last fleeting hours of their lives. Such facilities include a cinema, an aquarium and a garden. (DW: The Girl Who Waited)
