Sword

A sword is a weapon (as Orcini explained to his uniformed squire, Bostock) not unlike a large knife, that was used on many planets for thousands of years. Even when it was superceeded, the sword was still carried ceremonaly as a symbol of honor. (DW: Revelation of the Daleks)
